The nonprofit Central New York Diaper Bank will distribute free diapers to more than 500 families today at its location near Liverpool. The event will be 1 to 3 p.m. at 4645 Crossroads Park Drive in the town of Clay.
Pre-registration is required for those seeking diapers, but there is still time. People can sign up online anytime before the event.
The CNY Diaper Bank works with 36 partner agencies in the area to distribute diapers to babies and toddlers. The organization has distributed more than 3 million diapers since its inception.
The diaper bank also is holding “The Diaper Run” this week, a virtual fundraising event. Runners and walkers can participate in a 5K or shorter distance event on their own time during the week. All registration fees will go toward diaper purchases. More information can be found at cnydiaperbank.org/events/run.
