TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Nine local bands performed Sunday at the Huggies Luv-Fest at Stephen’s Dive Bar in Terre Haute. Bands who volunteered were members of the “Musicians Giving Back” organization.
The event was sponsored by the Covered With Love organization. Covered With Love has been donating diapers to babies in the Wabash Valley since 2015.
Event organizer Garri Knezevich said this was another way to give back to the community.
“It’s just another way to give back to your community,” he said. “Some of these organizations are struggling financially and there’s a big need so we search our for those organizations that are in the biggest need and then we try to put something together for them.”
