The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter have recently restarted the Diaper Bank Program to address a need in the community.

Food Bank partners work with nonprofit organizations to distribute diapers throughout San Diego County. Ramona Food and Clothes Closet is happy to announce that we will again be one of the nonprofits distributing diapers to the families who need them in Ramona, Julian, Santa Isabel, Borrego Springs, Warner Springs and our outlying rural areas.

Clients will be able to pick up diapers once a month, and must fill out an intake form to be added to the system if not already a client. The income guidelines will be the same as the Food Bank and are posted in the Service Office at 773 Main St.

Clients must present a current state identification or driver’s license; proof of address; income including social security, unemployment, disability payments, Cal Fresh, or any work or bartering used in exchange for room and/or board, along with proof of children under the age of 4. There is a limit of one pack of diapers per child.

The hours for picking up diapers will be the same as the Service Office hours for food: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
