Get ready to pay more for necessities. Proctor & Gamble is telling its customers that the company will be raising prices.
The company that produces Gillette razors, Tide, Pampers diapers and Always feminine products said their prices will go up by at least mid-single-digits this year, Reuters reported.
P&G said the price hike is needed to help offset the cost of the raw materials needed to make the products, The Wall Street Journal reported.
The price increase affects baby products, adult diapers and feminine-care brands and will come in September, the newspaper reported.
