Alright 2021, women have had enough

According to CNN, Procter & Gamble will raise prices on Pampers and Luvs diapers, as well as Always and Tampax tampons.
"If P&G's retail customers — which include Walmart, Target and Costco — pass on those hikes, they'll soon hit consumers' wallets," the report says.
The company hasn't announced exactly how much consumers will be paying, but you can expect to see those price hikes by mid-September.
Parents took to social media to air out their concerns.
"Yet no increase in wages, full-time jobs. High rents, increased utilities, people will need more government assistance." said one Twitter user.
So what's causing the jack up in prices?

According to a report by WHEC-TV, the toilet paper rush in the early days of the pandemic is to blame.
"Manufacturers are still trying to catch up in that boom in demand by hiring front-line workers, increasing wages, even turning to third-party manufacturers to fill the gap," the report states. "All of that costs money, so of course, those manufacturers pass along the costs to us."
And the price hikes aren't limited to P&G either. P&G's increase follows that of competitor Kimberly-Clark, who announced they will be raising the cost of Huggies, Pull-Ups and Scott toilet paper, CNN reports.
Customers can expect to start paying more for those products in June.
Let's just hope Starbucks doesn't plan a price hike soon because trips to Target will soon be dreadful for moms like me.
