LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – An effort to help families in our community came to a close Thursday.
Great Rivers United Way’s ‘Emerging Leaders’ wrapped up their first-ever diaper drive, and it was a big success.
Over the last three weeks, the group of young adults collected 4,156 diapers and 2,200 baby wipes.
They are being donated to The Parenting Place’s diaper bank for families in need.
Since the pandemic started more families are relying on the bank for help.
