The Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth and Families is asking for the public’s help.
Three newborn babies, including a preemie, were placed in the home's care this week.
Officials said foster families have stepped up and taken the infants, but they're in desperate need of newborn diapers and wipes.
The home takes care of about 150 children a year, most of whom are about to head back to school.
"We’ve got kids from these newborns to young adults in college. So, you know, it’s not just the babies. We’ve also got the needs for all the kids just trying to go back to school," development officer Sarah Thomas said.
