Dave Bautista Claims Donald Trump Wore Diaper at WrestleMania Match - Bleeding Cool News

diapers.indah.link

Former WWE wrestler and Hollywood megastar Dave Bautista has long feuded with fellow WWE Hall-of-Famer President Donald Trump, but Bautista took that feud to a new level recently when he attacked the president for his WrestleMania ring gear. Unlike Bautista, who is known for wearing trunks while he wrestles, President Trump wore a full suit at WrestleMania 23, where Trump pitted his champion, Bobby Lashley, against Vince McMahon's champion, Umaga, in the Battle of the Billionaires. But according to Bautista, Donald Trump was wearing something else under his suit: a diaper.

Dave Bautista is involved in a long-running feud with fellow WWE Hall-of-Famer President Donald Trump

Bautista took to Twitter to cut a shoot promo on the president, saying, "#DiaperDonald wore a diaper at
@WrestleMania??? Damn son!" Bautista accentuated the tweet with an emoji of a person facetiming. In the replies to his tweets, several people posted photos of Trump seeming to show the outline of said diaper underneath his pants, seemingly backing up Bautista's evidence. The President has yet to respond.

While it might seem odd to wear a diaper to a professional wrestling event, the fact is that it may be more normal in the world of pro wrestling than you think. Wrestlers including CM Punk, Tommy Dreamer, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Andre the Giant, Psycho Sid, and others have admitted to crapping their pants in the ring, so a smart wrestler might be inclined to wear a diaper just in case. It's no surprise that accidents would happen in the ring either; former WCW and WWE Champion Bill Goldberg explained that wrestlers poop up to twenty times per day, making it difficult to plan a match to take place in-between poops.

So if President Trump did wear a diaper during his match, as Dave Bautist claims, it might have actually been a smart move and not a reason for ridicule. Or maybe it was a requirement of the job. Who knows? Here at Bleeding Cool, Editor-in-Chief Kaitlyn Booth has been known to force the site's writers to wear diapers so that they can sit longer at their computers while locked in the basement and forced to produce entire clickbait articles about wrestler's tweets without taking a bathroom break.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!

Charlie Hall, Toy Lift Charity's secretary, says the organization is not receiving nearly as many donations as it has in year's past, but a "group of anonymous elves" are giving it a new goal.

"They said they'd be willing to donate up to $15,000, but we need to raise $15,000 between today to Friday, Dec. 4," he said.

Toy Lift will be accepting donations at limited drop off times at Fashion Square Mall.

Junior League of Champlain Valley marks a milestone with diaper bank - WCAX

diapers.indah.link

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - A diaper drive to help those in need kicks off during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Junior League of Champlain Valley will celebrate a giving milestone: Since 2018, they have distributed more than 450,000 diapers statewide on Giving Tuesday.

The organization established Chittenden County’s first diaper bank and began giving out diapers on a bimonthly basis to local food shelves.

“You know, like many social service agencies, we’ve just seen a tremendous increase in demand for our services and as I said, 100,000 diapers typically are distributed in a year and this year we did over 450,000 and we’re still counting, we’re still distributing,” said Amanda Herzberger, the chair of the JLVC Diaper Bank.

Various regional agencies from around the state will go to the volunteer-run diaper bank to pick up their orders so they can deliver out to the community.

JLCV also issued a community challenge to raise $7,500, enough to buy 50,000 diapers.

The state provided JLCV with COVID-19 relief money to help purchase the diapers for families in need.

The 5 Q's: Katy Spencer previews drive-thru diaper distribution event - Joplin Globe

diapers.indah.link

Q: What is the Diaper Bank of the Ozarks?

A: Diaper Bank of the Ozarks keeps babies healthy and happy by distributing diapers to partner agencies serving families in need throughout the Ozarks. Founded by Jill Bright (currently the volunteer executive director) in 2012, we have distributed almost 6 million diapers through over 100 partner agencies across the Ozarks reaching into Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma.

Q: What is the need for this organization in Southwest Missouri?

A: Diaper need is the inability to provide an adequate supply of clean, dry diapers. There are no government programs, such as (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) or (the Women, Infants and Children program), that assist families with diapers.

Diaper need is not limited to just families in poverty. Many families who are employed struggle to meet the $80 to $100 monthly expense of keeping up a diaper supply for one child.

Nearly 1 in 3 families struggle with diaper need, which can lead to a choice between diapers and other basic needs such as food or shelter. This stress causes parents to stretch the time between diaper changes, which can lead to serious physical and mental health problems for both the baby and the parents. In the worst cases, the stress of diaper need can contribute to parental depression, anxiety and even child abuse and neglect.

Q: When is the next drive-thru diaper distribution in Joplin?

A: Our second diaper distribution will be held on Saturday at Calvary Baptist Church from 10 a.m. to noon, or while supplies last. We are thankful for the support Pastor Kenny and Calvary have given us to be able to help with diaper need in the Joplin area.

Families do not need to preregister and will receive two packages of diapers per child. We will have newborn to size 6 available until they run out.

Q: Beyond diaper distribution, what other programs does the diaper bank offer for residents?

A: Expanding past the Regional Diaper Distribution Program, we have two other programs. Our Cloth Diaper Loan Program allows families to apply, learn about and receive a free cloth diaper kit delivered straight to their door. We provide education via virtual classes to show families how to use and care for their cloth diapers. Cloth diapering can save families (and us) up to $2,500 from birth to potty training versus the cost of disposable diapers. If you are interested in using cloth diapers, please email cloth@dbozarks.org for more information.

We also have our Diapers for Daycare Program where agencies can enroll to receive diapers for their clients. Many people don’t know this, but a baby can be sent home from daycare without a proper supply of diapers. This program was created to help parents maintain their jobs by taking away that worry and need. We just partnered with Economic Security Corp.'s Early Head Start home base in the Joplin area with this program.

Q: How can residents get involved in the organization?

A: There are three main ways to get involved with Diaper Bank of the Ozarks.

• Financial support. As members of the National Diaper Bank Network, we have access to wholesale rates for diapers. We can make your cash gift go so much further. This is our primary need during the holiday season. If you would like to donate, please visit www.diaperbankoftheozarks.org/yearend.

• Diapers. Hosting a diaper drive can be a fun and easy way to spread awareness about diaper need and get a friendly competition going with your coworkers, church, family or friends.

• Volunteer. We are taking small groups of volunteers to come to our warehouse in Springfield and help us wrap diapers.

Please contact us at info@dbozarks.org if you have any questions about how you can get involved.

Katy Spencer is the development director for the Diaper Bank of the Ozarks.

Can’t afford diapers, incontinence or period supplies? The Texas Diaper Bank could be the answer - KENS5.com

diapers.indah.link

The non-profit organization is now making home deliveries amid the pandemic. Organizers say they are always looking for donations and volunteers to help.

SAN ANTONIO — The Texas Diaper Bank - which does more than simply provide diapers to families in need - is now offering home-delivery.

For anyone living locally, items from its three main programs can be received via home-delivery or by mail (for those living outside the delivery area):

  • Diaper Assistance - provides immediate relief to families in crisis with diapers, wipes and other healthcare products.
  • Incontinence Assistance - provides access to incontinence supplies and other healthcare products to individuals experiencing incontinence (children with disabilities, adults and seniors).
  • Healthy Women Period - distributes period supplies and hosts self-care classes, which clients can receive more resources on mental health and the importance of self-care.

The move comes amid the pandemic in order to keep both clients and staff safe.

“Many people don't know that you can't use food stamps or WIC to pay for diapers. In fact, there are no state or federal child safety-net programs that allocate dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers,” Ashley Hernandez of the Texas Diaper Bank said.

According to Hernandez, one in three U.S. families report experiencing diaper need - which is described as the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep an infant or child clean, dry and healthy.

“With the holiday season already beginning and during a national pandemic, the Texas Diaper Bank is wanting to help families in a safe way by providing low-income families with basic need items including diapers, incontinence products and period supplies,” Hernandez said. “This is also during a time that Texas State has been reporting record high unemployment rates exacerbating the need for basic essential items like diapers.”

For anyone wanting to donate or help, there are many ways to get involved.

“You can help by either donating unopened items, volunteering your time to repackage diapers while practicing social distancing in our clean facility or donating via our website to fund diapers, incontinence and/or period supplies or any of our parenting health and wellness classes,” Hernandez said.

Qualified families and individuals enrolled in each program will receive six months of the usual number of supplies that Texas Diaper Bank provides via home delivery. Clients can re-enroll every six months thereafter. To qualify for services, families and individuals must live at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Line.

Texas Diaper Bank primarily serves clients in Bexar County, with services extending to 13 surrounding counties, depending on which program they are a part of. Some counties also include: Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Hays, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, McMullen, Medina and Wilson.

Middletown health center helping families one diaper pack at time - Middletown Press

diapers.indah.link

MIDDLETOWN — Now more than ever, the need for diapers is great for families struggling from the effects of the pandemic.

Locally, the Community Health Center Family Wellness Program, at 675 Main St., has sponsored the Middlesex County Diaper Bank Program since 2011, something one mother calls a “blessing.”

“It’s wonderful to know we live in such a supportive community, and I am truly thankful for the help. Just one small thing can ease a tremendous burden for a lot of parents,” said Lauryn, who identified herself by first name only.

The center was founded in 1993 to create a nurturing space for children birth to 5 and their families to attend play groups and classes, according to Nathaniel Holmes, Community Health Center community wellness and engagement program specialist. The bank distributes free diapers to families on the third Wednesday of each month at both 635 and 675 Main St. from noon to 3 p.m.

Family members can fill out a registration form on site and will only need proof of residency in Middlesex County to sign up. Children can receive diapers until age 3. If the family receives a doctor’s note for a medical/behavioral health issue, the child is able to get diapers until age 4, Holmes said.

“I am so glad that I found this place, because it has helped me a lot with diapers for my two children,” said mother Naima, who has used the service since 2017.

The bank carries sizes newborn through 6, and training pants and pull-ups are also available. Members receive 50 diapers per month per child. The program also provides free children’s books through the CHC Read to Grow initiative.

The Family Wellness Center is a member agency of The Diaper Bank of Connecticut, which delivers the diapers to the wellness center once a month, Holmes said. Those who cannot make that time may call for an appointment.

If a family misses a month, members are not able to receive double the following month, he said.

“We must never underestimate both the need and cost of diapers,” said Amy D. Gagliardi, senior manager of prenatal programs at the Community Health Center. “Whenever any of our prenatal patients call for diapers, Nat has always been there to help, and has been there even in emergency situations for same-day distribution of diapers. The diaper bank is a highly valued service offered to our community.”

“Support from the diaper bank for the clients of Hallie House has been super helpful. Staff and clients are grateful for this amazing community resource,” said Jessica Griffin, case manager for The Connection Inc. Hallie House for Women and Children.

Due to the coronavirus, all 19 all in-person Family Wellness Center programming is on hold. However, the CHC is running five virtual Zoom classes for children and families: Cultural Connections (support group for immigrant women), Circle of Moms (support group for new mothers), breastfeeding support group, Cantos y Cuentos (Spanish songs and music), and Arts Explorers (art projects for kids).

For information on the support groups or diaper bank, contact Holmes at holmesn@chc1.com or 860-347-6971, Ext. 3662.

PutskA Diaper Caddy

The PutskA diaper caddy comes with two pieces of pacifier clips and two pieces of organic cotton bandana drool bibs for both boys and girls. This is a foldable nursery organizer that is produced using high quality felt material that is safe for the baby and is environment-friendly at the same time. With its deep and wide pockets, this diaper caddy can provide the parent access to any baby item that is stored there.

It has centralized everything I need for diaper changes and a lot of other things I need for baby. Now I can take all my supplies upstairs and downstairs easily and I don’t have to worry about multiple trips or forgetting anything!”

Kristen B. from Canada also gave the product five stars and said, “Since my daughter started rolling and crawling and just generally being on the move nearly every waking minute, we've abandoned our change table and opted to change diapers in the living room out of convenience. What hasn't been convenient though is the diapers and wipes and cream etc. ending up in random spots around the house. This caddy is the absolute perfect solution. It's got tons of pockets and detachable dividers, it's stylish and fits just right tucked beside the sofa. Aside from the caddy itself being perfect it also came with 2 bibs, 2 pacifier clips and an adorable little card, which would make it the perfect baby shower gift, card and all! The bibs are so soft and the clips are super cute (one is missing from the photo because it got put to use right away). I honestly couldn't be more pleased.”

PutskA was established by Lily and Ben Nathan when their second child was born. As such, their experience has already taught them what are the important needs of babies and parents. They have made it their mission to offer stylish and well-designed practical baby products, with a focus on quality, comfort, design, and premium materials.

Health Dept. to hold last diaper event this year in Rock Island County - KWQC

diapers.indah.link

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. (KWQC) - The last diaper pickup event in Rock Island of 2020 will be held next week.

Health officials say the department is partnering with two local agencies to provide free diapers to Rock Island County families.

The drive-through, socially-distanced event, will be on December 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. It will be located at the health department at 2112 25th Avenue in Rock Island.

Families will be able to receive 50 diapers per child from Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank and Hiney Heroes.

Masks will be required of everyone over the age of 2.

“Diapers strain the finances of many families, even in non-COVID-19 times,” said Janet Hill, chief operating officer of the Rock Island County Health Department. “We know the need is even greater now, and we are proud to work with Hiney Heroes and Loving Bottoms to help our families.”

According to Hiney Heroes, 1 in 3 families reports have a diaper need. Disposable diapers can cost up to $80 a month per child, and no state or federal safety-net program allows benefits to be used for diapers.

Families can pick up diapers from garages at the back of the health department parking lot (closest to UnityPoint-Trinity).

Officials ask that families keep two lines of traffic entering the parking lot: one for diapers and one for WIC and other health department services.

Staff members will direct traffic.

Loving Bottoms is based in Galesburg, and Hiney Heroes is a Quad-City organization.

The diaper pickup on Dec. 1 is for Rock Island County residents only.

NorthShore Care Supply Announces COVID-19 Support for ICU Nurses Including Free Trial and 20% Discount on Super Absorbent Adult Diapers - PRNewswire

diapers.indah.link

GREEN OAKS, Ill., Nov. 25, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --  NorthShore Care Supply today announced a program for ICU nurses and other COVID first responders in the U.S., including a free trial of two bags of adult diapers as well as a 20 percent discount on all absorbent adult diapers, protective underwear, bladder control pads and cleansing wipes available at its NorthShore.com website. ICU nurses and other COVID first responders can take advantage of this program and receive their personalized free trial and discount by contacting NorthShore directly.

"We want to show our appreciation for the dedication of our medical providers and their heroic work during this pandemic," says Adam Greenberg, president and founder, NorthShore Care Supply. "We've been contacted by a number of ICU nurses this year treating COVID patients who are struggling to meet the needs of their patients during extended shifts while managing with overactive balder (OAB) or bladder or bowel incontinence. Due to the added restrictions of PPE, frequent toileting is just not an option for most ICU nurses today."

The NorthShore® MEGAMAX™ diaper-style disposable briefs are uniquely designed for up to 12 hours of protection for extreme or total urinary incontinence. "Having peace of mind that leaks and odors will be contained with confidence is a life-saver for many people," says Greenberg.

Bladder or bowel dysfunction affects around 100 million adults in the U.S. and often requires a combination of medical treatments and management devices for people to maintain their normal routine. When people are unable to use the toilet at normal intervals, it further puts a strain on the bladder muscles, which may already be weakened from life events or underlying medical conditions.

"Our healthcare workers are dealing with PPE shortage issues, overcrowded Emergency Rooms and ICUs, stress and long hours," says Greenberg. "We can help make people's lives and jobs just a little easier by providing the leak protection they need during the pandemic. Most hospital-grade or store brand adult diapers are not designed for such extreme circumstances. However, NorthShore has developed some of the world's most absorbent diapers after almost 20 years of experience serving the disabled and caregiver markets, including those with severe incontinence from conditions such as neurogenic bladder, kidney dysfunction, genetic disorders and Crohn's & Colitis."

The free trial and discount program for ICU Nurses and COVID first responders is currently available through March 31, 2021, while supplies last, by completing the Contact Us form at https://www.northshore.com/contact

Times Report  |  Crookston Times

The Crookston Kiwanis Club and the Kiwanis Crookston High School Seventh and Eighth Grade Builders Club are doing what they can to answer the need at the Crookston Care and Share, with a Diaper Drive.

Beginning Monday, Nov. 30 and continuing through Thursday, Dec. 10 the Kiwanis Builders Club will be collecting diapers at these drop-off areas: HN Quality Plumbing (535 3rd Ave. SW), Valley Technology Park (510 Polk County Road 71, Suite 119), Real Good Bath and Body (118 South Broadway), and the University of Minnesota Crookston (for UMN Crookston staff).  You are asked to drop off your diapers between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Donated items collected will go toward helping babies at the Care and Share. Diapers of any sizes are welcome but the sizes in the greatest need are 1, 2, and 6. Diapers will be delivered to the Care and Share on Dec. 11.

Care and Share Director Brian Halos says families will very much appreciate the diapers.

“The need has never been greater, especially during these very stressful times,” he said.

The Builders Club, advised by Crookston Kiwanis President Rae French and CHS teacher Megan Solie, are delighted to see the junior high students take such an active role in helping out their community. The students helped determine the locations as drop-off sites and also designed their own posters to promote the diaper drive.

Stark County Diaper Bank | Give Back Guide - Aboutstark.com

diapers.indah.link

Many families are faced with a difficult, if not impossible, choice between buying diapers or paying for other essentials.

In Stark County, one in five children younger than five live in poverty. Diapers can cost $85 or more per month. And no state or federal safety net programs—including WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children) or food stamps—cover that cost.

Without diapers, babies can’t go to childcare, parents can’t go to work, babies are less happy and healthy, and families are more stressed.

The Stark County Diaper Bank is working to change that. The nonprofit launched in 2018 with a goal of making sure that every family in Stark County has the diapers they need.

The diaper bank works with partner organizations to distribute diapers to families in need throughout the county. They’ve recently expanded that network to reach families outside of Stark’s city centers.

“If we can be that little stop gap in a time of need, that’s what we’re trying to be,” said Shannon Hexamer, board chair.

Folks can donate clean diapers—open packages are OK—at drop boxes at Once Upon A Child in Jackson Township and at Akron Children’s Health Center in North Canton.

The bank also accepts donations online at StarkCountyDiaperBank.org and through its Amazon Smile wishlist. The website also offers information on how to volunteer to sort and wrap diapers, or host a diaper drive to gather donations.

Jake's Diapers is Solving Diaper Need Globally - BORGEN - Borgen Project

diapers.indah.link

TACOMA, Washington — The average infant generally needs more than 2,900 clean diapers annually. Without clean diapers, infants are more at risk of developing severe rashes and infections. That’s why one nonprofit is striving to eliminate diaper shortages around the world. Jake’s Diapers is solving diaper need globally by working with more than 15 community-based partners to provide reusable diapers to those in need.

Diapering Practices

Traditional diapering practices have varied tremendously for years due to cultural and regional differences. The Chukchi and the Comanche used moss in their diapers to absorb moisture. Meanwhile, parents in northern China used to put their children in sandbags. People have used these practices, as well as various other traditional diapering practices, for millennia. However, they can cause health problems. For example, experts in China found that putting babies in sand drastically hindered babies’ weight, height and intelligence. In today’s society, there is less variation in diapering practices due to growing access to safer alternatives. However, there are still many parents that struggle to obtain diapers for their children.

The Importance of Solving Diaper Need Globally

The definition of diaper need is the “gap between the number of diapers a baby needs and the number of diapers the family can afford”. Diaper need is not only a problem for babies, but it can also be a problem for seniors and people with disabilities that have incontinence issues.

For people living in poverty, diapers can be extremely costly. Over 700 million people around the world survive on less than $1.90 per day.  The average disposable newborn diaper is around 26 cents and most newborns will dirty at least six diapers per day. With those numbers, disposable diapers alone would cost approximately $1.56 per day for a newborn, which comprises at least 82% of the daily income for someone living in severe poverty. While cloth diapers are much cheaper, only about seven cents per diaper, this still adds up to 42 cents per day which comprises at least 22% of someone in poverty’s daily income.

Clearly, it wouldn’t be reasonable for someone to spend the majority of their daily income on diapers alone. That is why impoverished families experience acute diaper need. Many parents in poverty have to make the decision between diapers and basic needs, like food, shelter and water.

The Importance of Proper Diapering Practices

Diapers are vital for an infant’s happiness and health. Infants need to have their diapers changed regularly to lower their risk of developing physical problems such as infections and skin rashes. In severe cases, they can even develop skin breakdown. Access to diapers also keeps communities safer by reducing the risk of water contamination. Additionally, being properly diapered is vital for an infant’s emotional wellbeing. Infants tend to become extremely uncomfortable when left in soiled diapers for too long, causing them to become irritable and cry.

Issues Associated with Disposable Diapers

Disposable diapers are extremely popular in the United States, mainly due to the convenience associated with them. They are also extremely impractical for multiple reasons. The Real Diaper Association estimated that it costs around $750 per year to regularly diaper an infant using disposable diapers. In comparison, using cloth diapers would only cost around $225 yearly for the same usage frequency.

Not only are disposable diapers expensive, but they are also bad for the environment. Disposable diapers contribute to non-recyclable landfill waste. On top of that, they contain and then release many harmful chemicals into the environment upon disposal. In developing countries, disposable diapers become a sanitation issue since these countries lack a place to properly dispose of the diapers. This makes reusable diapers the practical option for solving diaper need globally.

Jake’s Diapers

Jake’s Diapers is a Wisconsin-based non-profit organization that focuses on solving diaper need globally for infants, the elderly, and people with special needs. As of 2019, Jake’s Diapers had distributed 606,964 cloth diapers and hygiene products to families in over 20 countries. During both Hurricane Dorian in 2019 and the Australia fire crisis in 2020, Jake’s Diapers provided emergency relief to families in need. The non-profit receives donations of both new and used cloth diapers and provides them to babies in need.

Originally, Jake’s Diapers’ intention was to help babies in Peru. The founder of the non-profit, Stephanie, participated in a women’s mission trip to Peru in 2011. During her trip, she visited an adult care facility where she saw caregivers reusing disposable diapers for 15 babies in the facility. Shortly after Stephanie returned from her trip, she started a family and used cloth diapers for her son, Jake. Once Jake outgrew his diapers, Stephanie sent them to Peru for the babies in the adult care facility. Since then, Jake’s Diapers has grown tremendously and impacted nearly 18,000 lives.

Unicharm To Launch Recycled Diaper In 2022 - Nonwovens Industry Magazine - News, Markets - Nonwovens Industry Magazine

diapers.indah.link

Unicharm will turn used diaper material into new diapers which will be available on the market in 2022. Pulp from used diapers will be extracted and repurposed in new diapers. The Japanese company also plans to introduce more than 10 diaper recycling facilities between now and 2030 to reduce diaper waste.

Unicharm has already launched a pilot program of diaper collection in the Tokyo area.  The program, which is being done, in partnership with nursing homes and children’s daycare centers, will form a recycling model that will eventually be rolled out elsewhere in Japan and internationally.

According to the company, the diaper recycling process has been simplified and made more efficient in recent years. Unicharm has been working on recycling methods since 2016 by conducting methods in southern Japan.

Unicharm's initiative comes at a time when there is an increasing amount of diaper waste, as Japan's population rapidly ages and diaper demand grows among the elderly.

"More people will be using diapers in an aging society and the proportion of disposable diapers in waste increases," says Kenji Ueda, general manager of Unicharm's environmental, social and corporate governance division. "We want to aim for recycling that enables [diaper waste] to be remade multiples times [into new diapers], not just once."

3 Monster Growth Stocks That Still Have Room to Run

Investors are in the market to make a profit, and that means finding the stocks with proven growth potential. Yes, it’s a cliché to remind everyone that past performance does not guarantee future results, but when a stock consistently shows strong share appreciation, over an extended period, it’s a positive sign for investors. With more than ten months behind us, the stocks that are now showing a combination of strong gains and a high near- to mid-term potential are going to attract investor interest.Bearing this in mind, we set out to find stocks flagged as exciting growth plays by Wall Street. Using TipRanks’ database, we locked in on three analyst-backed names that have already notched impressive gains and boast strong growth narratives for the long-term. Bandwidth, Inc. (BAND)We start in the communications software sector, where Bandwidth is a leading provider of VoIP systems, using its application programming interfaces (API) to offer customers both text and voice capabilities. The company's products include applications for voice calling, text messaging, local phone numbers via internet, and 911 emergency phone system access. Bandwidth has developed and built its own network for voice over internet, helping to guarantee connectivity.Like many online tech companies, BAND has benefitted from the 2020’s shift to remote work. The move into the virtual office space has put a premium on internet communications, and BAND shares have reflected that – the stock is up an impressive 135% year-to-date. The company’s Q3 earnings were also strong – and at 14 cents per share were far above the 12 cent net EPS loss expected. Revenues for the third quarter came in at $84.8 million, for a 40% year-over-year increase. In addition to positive revenues and earnings, Bandwidth has also shown sound liquidity. The company had over $300 million in cash and cash equivalents available at the end of September, while liabilities totaled only $57.8 million. Finally, earlier this month, Bandwidth completed its acquisition of the European cloud communications company Voxbone. The deal was valued at 446 million Euros, or more than $520 million in US currency. The transaction included 354.6 million Euros in cash, and the remainder in stock.Bandwidth’s growth and healthy future prospects caught the attention of 5-star analyst Michael Walkley. Writing from Canaccord, this top analyst said, “With Covid-19 impacting the way we work, learn, and interact for the foreseeable future, we believe Bandwidth is a long-term beneficiary from anticipated strong growth trends due to increased customer usage of their platform. We believe revenue growth should remain strong given our expectations for some permanent long-term changes with an increased remote work environment driving both increasing usage from existing customers and layering in the potential for stronger new customer growth.”To this end, Walkley puts a Buy rating on BAND shares, and his $225 price target suggests room for nearly 50% upside in the next 12 months. (To watch Walkley’s track record, click here)Overall, BAND gets a Moderate Buy rating form the analyst consensus, based on 5 reviews, including 4 Buys and 1 Sell. The shares are priced at $150.50, and the average price target of $192.20 implies a one-year upside of ~28%. (See BAND stock analysis on TipRanks)Wayfair, Inc. (W)From cloud communications we move on to e-commerce, where Wayfair is a leader in the home goods and furniture sector. E-commerce has seen heavy gains during the COVID pandemic, as customers moved larger portions of their shopping online. The stock shows that, having grown 180% year-to-date.Earnings have also reflected strong sales during the pandemic period. EPS turned positive in Q2, coming in at $2.54 against a 55-cent forecast. In Q3, the earnings per share was $1.80, beating the estimate by 300%. Revenues are high, too, with the $3.8 billion in Q3 representing a 66% year-over-year gain. And like Bandwidth above, Wayfair has a sound balance sheet, with $2.6 billion in cash and liquid assets reported at the end of the third quarter. These fiscal gains stand on the shoulders of solid sales performance. Wayfair reported 11.3 million orders from repeat customers in Q3, making up almost 72% of the quarter’s total orders. Active customers in the company’s Direct Retail business segment increased 50% yoy, and reached 28.8 million.Peter Keith, 5-star analyst with Piper Sandler, writes of Wayfair, “Looking forward, KPI's repeat customers (% of orders) and revenue per average customer (LTM) both hit all-time highs and suggest Wayfair will grow revenues nicely off a larger base of customers… We maintain our bullish thesis as above-trend sales growth is likely to persist at least into early 2021, and margins are expanding far above expectations – with longer-term drivers coming into focus."It should come as no surprise, then, that Keith stays with the bulls. In addition to an Overweight (i.e. Buy) rating, he left a $370 price target on the stock. Investors could be pocketing a gain of 47%, should this target be met in the twelve months ahead. (To watch Keith’s track record, click here)Overall, Wayfair has 20 reviews on record, including 10 Buys, 7 Hold, and 3 Sell, making the analyst consensus view a Moderate Buy. W stock is selling for $251.70 and has an average price target of $312.63, making the upside potential 24% for the coming months. (See Wayfair’s stock analysis on TipRanks)Schrodinger (SDGR)Last but not least is Schrodinger, a software company that develops applications for the life sciences and materials sciences industries. In short, the company builds the software platforms that allows customers to evaluate experimental compounds. Schrodinger describes its software as a physics-based platform, integrating solutions for collaboration, data analytics, and predictive modeling in chemistry. The platform is used extensively in the pharmaceutical industry, but also in aerospace, energy, and semiconductors.Schrodinger went public in February of this year, just as the corona crisis was ramping up, and quickly saw strong share gains. At the IPO, the stock sold for $26 per share, well above the initial pricing of $17. The company sold well over 11.8 million shares, making the opening one of the year’s most successful. Since then, SDGR shares have more than doubled, gaining nearly 140% in their first nine months of public trading.Revenues have remained consistent during the year, with the first three quarters of 2020 showing the top line between $23 and $26 million. The Q3 number, at $25 million, is right in the middle of that range. The Q3 top line beat the forecast by 10%Covering this stock for BMO, 5-star analyst Do Kim writes, “We believe the 42% y/y growth in software revenues reflects the accelerating adoption of computational drug discovery, in addition to a growing customer base. We expect software growth to continue into 2021, as we believe the pandemic trend of remote work is sticky, with increasing platform validation from collaborations.”In line with this upbeat outlook, Kim rates SDGR shares an Outperform (i.e. Buy) along with a $94 price target. This figure indicates confidence in a 37% one-year upside potential. (To watch Kim’s track record, click here)All in all, Schrodinger’s Strong Buy consensus rating is based on 3 Buys and 1 Hold. The stock has an average price target of $83, giving it a 21% upside from the current trading price of $68.52.
